Scripture:
16 The eleven disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped, but some doubted. 18 Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

1. HOOK – Capture Their Attention
1. HOOK – Capture Their Attention
“Have you ever felt alone?
Maybe it’s a quiet day, and your friends and/or family don’t call or message you.
Maybe you haven’t gotten a letter or heard from someone in a LONG time.
Maybe some friends or family have moved on or passed away.
My parents have both passed away at a young age.
I miss them often.
Maybe sometimes you just really wish you had someone to be with or talk to.
What if I told you that there is someone who never leaves your side…

20b And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Jesus said this AFTER His resurrection, right before ascending to heaven.
Do you believe Jesus is ALIVE today??
He said, “I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
It’s a promise to His disciples then — and to us TODAY — that we are NEVER alone!
“Always” means in every moment — good or bad, healthy or sick, young or old.
He is ALWAYS with us.
He is ALWAYS listening to your PRAYERS.
He is ALWAYS present with His children.
Are YOU His child?
Have YOU been born-again?
Has there been a point in your life where God CHANGED your relationship with your sin and with Jesus?
“If you don’t have a new relationship with sin, you DON’T have a new relationship with God.
Our greatest problem in this life is this:
God is HOLY, HOLY, HOLY…and we are NOT.
In Romans 3, the Bible tells us that there is NOT ONE PERSON who is “Good”.
Jesus Himself tells us that no one is Good but God.
Have you ever told a lie?
We are sinful people, who are in need of rescue from the wrath of God…
We ALL NEED Jesus to rescue us from the wrath of God on sin.
If we are truly born-again:
We have been rescued and changed…
Jesus gives us this PROMISE that he is with us ALWAYS.
He will NEVER leave His children…
3. LOOK – Apply the Truth to Their Lives
3. LOOK – Apply the Truth to Their Lives
Even in this facility right here, God is present!
He sees everything you are involved with and going through.
He hears your EVERY prayer.
The KING of all Creation, the One Who spoke all things into existence and holds them all together by His Word…is listening to you.
There is NO ONE HIGHER.
He is The Most High God.
We should take GREAT COMFORT in that!
In times of fear, illness, or loneliness, Jesus is beside you.
Jesus never promised us an easy life.
He DID promise us that we would suffer like Him…
16 “Truly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his master, and a messenger is not greater than the one who sent him.
Since Jesus suffered and we are being made into His image, we will have a degree of suffering, in this life, to identify with and take part with Christ.
No matter what that suffering looks like or HAS LOOKED LIKE in this life for you and me…DON’T FORGET THIS:
Jesus knows:
your name
your story
your needs
and He has NOT forgotten you.

4. TOOK – Call to Respond
What do we need to do with this??
Take comfort in His presence today.
Jesus is with us.
if you are born-again, He lives inside of you.
Talk to Him like a friend — He hears you.
Be open and honest with Him.
Give Him ALL of your thoughts and feelings.
He wants the REAL you, not the person you believe that you need to present to Him.
He desires your true and genuine heart expressed to Him.
When you feel weak or alone, remember: “I am with you always.”
